My boss at work is a guy that thinks the rules do not apply to him, and right now it is having an effect on me. Lots of things don't affect me, and I pride myself in that, but this is surely getting all over my nerves.
I'm all about bending the rules. I do it all the time. But this guy is madness. He thinks that because he's in charge that the rules don't apply. He thinks he can do whatever he wants, thinks we're oblivious, and thinks nothing of it.
In the Marine Corps, we had a strict set of rules we had to abide by all the time, and now I understand that things aren't necessarily that way in the corporate world. They aren't that set.
This guy thinks he's going to do awesome things in the real world, when I know that when he gets out to the real world, it'll tear him apart.
Ugh. So frustrating.
